Phrases

ऐसे शब्द समूह को जिनसे पूरा अर्थ ण निकले बल्कि कुछ अर्थ निकले, Phrases (वाक्यांश) कहते हैं 

जैसे -

in a corner

at the door

in the west

on the roof

किसी वाक्यांश को पूर्ण वाक्य बनाने के लिए हमें उसमे कुछ और शब्द जोड़ने पड़ते हैं - जैसे

Ram is sitting in the room.

He is playing in the ground.

The sun sets in the west.

The woman is at the door.
